Meet local experts for 40-minute guided strolls through RedGate’s top birding and nature spots. All ages welcome!
Nature Table & BioBlitz (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Stop in for hands-on ID crafts, then grab a clipboard to help Croydon Creek Nature Center catalog the park’s plants & wildlife in a citizen-science BioBlitz.
Chronolog Photo Stations (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Learn to snap and upload photos with your smartphone at our Chronolog stations to document RedGate Park’s changing landscape over time.
Native Plant Giveaway (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
As you head out, pick up a free native plant courtesy of the City of Rockville.
Rockville City Weed Warriors (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
Learn how to become a Rockville City Weed Warrior — and then roll up your sleeves to help remove invasive plants. Tools, gloves & bags provided, SSL Hours available. Registration required (free). Session is 2 hours.
